Our implementing system is designed around operational protocols to create a directional flow for all new product concepts. This process channels product concepts through six strategic divisions:

•  Research & Product Development
•  Marketing and Business Development
•  Manufacturing and Production
•  Corporate Planning and Development
•  Functional Planning and Organizational Development
•  Administration

Before examining the process, it is first necessary to provide the Guild's definition of two terms:

When an inventor approaches the Guild with a product , both parties must first complete and endorse a mutual non-disclosure agreement. This document is a mutually protective measure, enabling the safe, free-flow sharing of information.

The Guild then conducts a preliminary expositive, as well as submitting of a formal request for product history and any/all previous research, prototypes and resources already in place. This information will be forwarded to the Product Development Division (PDD) for further research. The PDD conducts a product viability analysis and passes this information to the Board of Founders.

The Board of Founders conduct a second analysis, based on a proprietary product filtering model, arriving at the decision to accept or decline the product.

If the product is accepted, a new corporate entity (LLC) is created with both the Inventor(s) and the Aslan Guild sharing membership and ownership interests in the new entity. Depending on the product, the product's North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code, surrounding circumstances and other salient aspects, exclusive licensing agreements may be implemented within the new LLC, in lieu of original IP rights retention and ownership assignment.

Upon the fulfillment and creation of the new corporate entity, the product then continues through the remaining strategic divisions.   This process includes further product R&D (if required), manufacturing requirements and arrangements (licensing, cooperative agreements, etc.), business development and corporate planning, strategic functional and organizational development, marketing strategy and implementation and administrative requirements.

In the event the Board of Founders elects to decline the product, a detailed, comprehensive report is provided to the inventor, summarizing the Guild's findings and outlining our position and reasoning for the declination.

The strengths of our unique system, revolve around the integrity and fairness brought into an industry where these characteristics are all but totally absent and long overdue.   Considering over one half of our executive team are inventors and patent holders, we strongly believe these characteristics will provide tremendous opportunities for any and all seeking a trustworthy and safe environment in which the creative process can grow and thrive!
